DESIGN REALITIES INTERIOR DESIGNERS IN ALRESFORD, WINCHESTER, HAMPSHIRE
This large London apartment within a converted spice warehouse is popular with city professionals. However, after many years of occupancy it was evidently in need of an update. It is located within the upmarket Butler's Wharf area and so it was important that our final design should reflect the calibre of its location and character.
The design objective was to modernise in order to maximise its potential rental revenue.
Gender-neutral designs were implemented to appeal to singles, or professional couples, providing the accommodation with simple, but quality items of furniture that exuded a contemporary and luxurious feel. Clever positioning of key items of furniture allowed tenants flexibility to bring in their own preferred pieces.
A re-design of the bathroom and complete re-decoration, with re-carpeting throughout, rejuvenated its space. A contemporary furniture scheme; updated lighting; the supply of new curtains and soft furnishings fulfilled the brief.
Needless to say, the apartment was let to the first viewer at a soft viewing, before it was officially marketed by the estate agent.
